A few months ago, Xiaomi had released its
middle-class smartphone called Mi 8 SE, which was the first smartphone to come
with the support of Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset. This smartphone is also
part of the Mi 8 family.
The new smartphone is the Mi 8 Youth or
maybe the Mi 8X. Specifications of the device have appeared on China's Weibo
site, and are known to come with a 6.26-inch screen and are still supported by
the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset with the Mi 8 SE and have a RAM
capacity of 6GB.
Other specification leaks reveal that the
Mi 8 Youth screen will have a resolution of 2280 × 1080 pixels with a 19: 9
aspect ratio and of course there will be bangs at the top. The capacity of this
smartphone's storage memory is 64GB. For the photography section, Mi 8 Youth
will arrive with a dual-camera setup where the main sensor is 12MP. Whereas the
secondary sensor will be 2MP or 5MP.
While the front will have a 24MP
resolution camera to meet the selfie needs of young users and this is in
accordance with the name of the device that will target young consumers. The
battery capacity of this device does not sound special, which is only 3,350mAh.
But considering this smartphone uses the Snapdragon 710 chipset that supports
the Quick Charge 3.0 feature, Xiaomi is expected to present these features on
this device. Although the leaked Mi 8 Youth specification with the M1808D2TE
model number cannot be confirmed, the list of specifications displayed on Weibo
is in accordance with the leaked specifications from the TENAA which first
appeared. Unfortunately, the form of this smartphone is not known at this time
and it is expected that there will soon be leaked images from Mi 8 Youth in the
near future
